review 1: *Inuyasha* is series I never thought I would like. I tried watching the anime, in both subbed and dubbed versions, but could not get into it. The only part of the anime I ever really liked at all was the movies, so I've seen 3 of those. My cousin kept telling me that the manga is good, and that I should read it, but I used the fact that I never liked the anime as an excuse to not do so. Then, a few months ago, I saw the "VIZBig Vol.13" version of the manga, which contains V37-V39, up on Edelweiss, and I decided to go ahead and request it, so I could try it. Guess what, it sat in my eReader UNread for like 2 months before I finally decided to try reading it a few days ago. And, guess what! I happen to really enjoy this. I have to keep making myself put my eReader down an... mored stop reading this, so that I can get things done around here.---------------- In this volume, Kohaku is feeling terrible about how he killed his father and friends while under the influence/control of Naraku. Sango is there to comfort him, but he doesn't want to lean on anyone. Meanwhile, the demon that contains the infant version of Naraku knows that he needs the shard in Kohaku's back. But, can he get it? Kagura was my favorite character in this volume. She originally comes across as a cruel and heartless woman that it seems nobody would like, but she quickly changes. She seems to help almost all of the good guys in this volume. But, who will help Kagura? Will she ever get her much-deserved freedom?-------------- This volume was provided to me by VIZ Media, via Edelweiss, as a part of an omnibus manga. It was presented in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed here are my own.
review 2: I liked this volume quite much. The plot keeps going on, it doesn't stop to jam like it used to. The whole Sesshomaru - Kagura thing is getting more tickling, I can't wait to see what it turns out! Well, Kagome and Inuyasha are still at the same stage they were few volumes back. I'd like to see Inuyasha's final decisions soon, I've fustrated by his actions. He wants both Kagome and Kikyo - but he can't have them both! I'm in love with this manga-serie, but it has started to jam and I'd like to see the end of Inuyasha.. I really do. less
