review 1: Protagonist with a secret services background, settling personal vendetta, hi-tech weponry, high octane action. It has all cliche elements of a Hollywood flick, but still loved the pacing and the way the plot unfolded. Left me wanting for more. Fortunately, this series has several installments ahead. Good homework on the character backstory, especially the choice of a Mossad agent as opposed to CIA or MI6(beaten to death).
review 2: This was a a pretty good book with lots of action. it did lull slightly in the middle but the time was necessary to flesh out the background information. The one thing that kind of bogged it down for me was all of the references to the specific makes and models of the weapons used. Other than that it was a good read with a strong fe... moremale main character and a good plot twist toward the end which I am guessing is part of a lead in to the next book in the series. The final showdown was really well written and was one that I can imagine seeing in a movie. if you liked the Bourne Identity you will like this book. I look forward to reading the next one. less
