review 1: This was on the short side, even for a novella. And I kinda just wanted it to be a little longer so I could get to know the characters better. There wasn't anything in either of the characters lives that I immediately connected to, so I needed a bit more time than the novella gave me to really build a relationship with them. I did enjoy it though, and I'd be up for reading other things by Ruthie Knox.
review 2: This story was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed the lengths the hero and heroine went to in making the characters they played on each date true to the period without ever consulting each other on more than the year and the train. When they finally meet in the real world, things don't run so smoothly, and I guessed why before the heroine did. Definitely one to... more reread when I'm after something a little different. less
