review 1: This will have to be a vague review so that I don't reveal the twist that happens early on in the story and then becomes the story.Ichi is an entomologist who is a visiting researcher on a world still recovering from a war that happened decades earlier. Ichi is intelligent, reserved, and warm.This story takes you through an emotional romance and through Ichi creating his own family. It took my breath away at times and I read it straight through in one shot, unable to put it down.
review 2: I love this book. I really wish there weren't so many glaring typos though. The only issue I see currently is that the writer keeps making many minor typing mistakes, confusing one word for another of similar spelling, and making common mistakes. The story seems well-thought ... moreout, the characters seem to all have their own personalities and lives, and I love the idea of a futuristic setting for it all as well. I would take off one star for the obvious glaring typos and a few grammar oversights, giving the book a current rating of four (4) stars in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, the story was still an enjoyable read for me and I would recommend this to friends, that is if they can overlook minor errors in favour of a good story. less
