review 1: Really good book. Once I really had the time to sit down with it, I finished it up in a day. The story is sexy & true to life for anyone who has spent any time with band boys. The heroine is strong, the hero sexy as hell, and the story moves along at a great pace. Only a couple of things that I could think of to make it better. One is to actually let us know what "the accident" was that happened to Rhys' ex that he was supposedly responsible for. It would give us a clearer image as to why Phaedra is so vengeful. Second is get a better editor! I absolutely adore the authors' writing, but there are typos on every page, almost, that really take away from the enjoyment of the story. These could easily be fixed with a better editor & I'd be more willing to give 5 s... moretars.
review 2: Seeing ghosts isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Especially when the one ghost you want to see doesn’t want you to see her. Rhys has always known he could see ghosts and sometimes that helps him out, but other times it makes his life harder. When his girlfriend died in a car accident, all he wants to do is see her again. When she doesn’t let that happen he heads into a down whirl spiral of drinking constantly. All of that seems to change when Saffron joins the tour. Not wanting to screw up her shot at the big time, Saffron joins that 13 Shades of Red tour as the new manager. Believing she is completely up for the task she sets out there with one mission, to do her best at the job. She didn’t expect to have sparks fly between her and Rhys though. But sometimes you can’t help yourself when it comes to the attraction you have for someone. When the sparks start flying between Rhys and Saffron, and things are going great, that’s when his ex, Phaedra, makes her comeback. Desperate to keep them apart, Phaedra waits until Halloween and then tries to ruin the new relationship that is happening. Will their newfound love be able to last when there is a vengeful ghost after them? Or will Phaedra be able to keep Rhys for herself, even though she’s already dead? After reading You Burn Me, I had high hopes for this book, and this book was able to surpass those hopes!! I really enjoyed being able to find out more about Rhys, because he was hinted at in You Burn Me, and find out what his story was. I also enjoyed how down to earth Saffron’s character was written. There are two things that I have completely loved with this book, the first one is, Yes Rhys can talk to ghosts, and we know this. But during the book, it’s not slammed in your face constantly that he is a medium. There are a few times that it is shown him talking to the undead. I really enjoyed how in this book we got to know him for who he is, not just his power. The second thing that I enjoyed is that although there are other people with powers in this book, you are only given hints as to what their powers are. So there isn’t an overkill of information that is given about the different types of paranormal powers that everyone has.All in all I have to say, that I completely enjoyed this book, and I am really happy that I read it. And I can’t wait for the next book to come out!! less
