review 1: The first volume covers Yuki finding out about his new 'power', meeting a classmate with the same power as he does and finding out about this game that Deus has sent into motion.Each player is assigned a number based on the order that Deus modified his or her diary.Yuki, is the "1st" Diary owner, is his favorite to win the game, he is forced to team up with the 2nd Diary owner is a stalker,name Yuno Gasai.The manga takes a big spin and adventure in the middle of the book, as the ninth diary holder comes into action.I think this is like my third magna, but Im enjoying it. It is something different. Which, I enjoy, but the only draw back is you have to read from right to left instead of left to right. So its a challenge cause sometime your forget that you have to read it in ... morethis order.
review 2: I think this is going to be a really great series and I really don't know why I agreed to read it... published by Tokyopop, this manga series is currently still ongoing in Japan, which means I will never get to read the end of this series. I know once I reach the 10th volume (the last available volume in the US) I'm going to be raging so hard because I won't be able to find out what happens next... I knew this before I started this book and I know it even more now that I actually dig the storyline.Anyway, enough about my rant, this is a really cool concept and I can't wait to see what happens. Plus also, Yukiteru is adorable, plus I already really love Yuno! I'm really excited about this series! less
