review 1: After discovering a dark secret that Yuno has kept locked inside of her home, Yukiteru is unable to trust her despite her strong affection and loyalty towards him. When the two and Kurusu embark on an investigation to negotiate with a priestess, whom is the Sixth diary holder, things go awry and Yukiteru must make a choice to either join the insane murderer Yuno or a complete stranger whom everyone is trying to tell him that she's only out to kill her opponents, including him.I think I'm reading these too fast. Maybe? I don't know. Perhaps it is just a bad spot in my life. But these are really good! If TOKYOPOP ever asks for funds again by buying their old books and this series was on the list, this would definitely be some of the books I would buy! Or even if it was relic... moreensed in omnibus form, despite my detest for omnibus manga, it would still be supporting the series, the author, the company, and future manga similar to Future Diary, no? BUY IT AND READ IT!
review 2: After deciding the first one was pretty cool, I picked up volume two. It completely surpassed the first volume. There was so much action and the story progression is keeping such a great pace. I went to the library immediately to get the next two.Yuki and Yuno are just beginning to get to know each other better, and Yuki is warming up to her. Yuno really has a thing for Yuki and he doesn't understand why. Their relationship is just beginning to take a step in the right direction when Yuki makes a horrifying discovery. There's something dark that we don't know about Yuno and I can't wait to figure out exactly what it is.This volume has some pretty big plot twists. There's really no telling who is on what side. When the servants at the temple fall into a trance and begin killing, they need to find out who is behind it. Yuno and Kurusu seem like the only ones with their heads on straight in a crisis.I'm really loving this series. On to volume three! less
