review 1: I wanted to like this book. I really did. In the end, though, it was just a little too cute, a little too snarky, a little too clever and full of itself for me to really enjoy. It reminded me of a hipster who is not nearly as cool and insightful as he thinks he is. While the premise was promising, none of the characters were particularly worth rooting for. I kept going, in the hope that I would get caught up in the plot and characters, but that just didn't happen.

Lots that I identified with but maybe hit to close to home. Wanted something more from the ending.

There isn't a single likable character in this book, including the 4 year old child.
