review 1: This book sucked me in from the first paragraph. Ally is the "prophecy girl" and she is not what she seems. This is about the immortals. who protect us humans, and the vampires and how she finds out who she is and deals with it. Throw in there that she is very independent and her soul mate is over 300 years old. Leads to a lot of laughter and interesting situations. Amazing writing, deep characters, lots of suspense, romance, sarcasm, and laughter along with sadness. I read it in 2 days over 600 pages. I can't wait to read the next installment...highly recommend it to all.
review 2: This book was amazing and totally brought me in. I was sick and was reading in bed and I felt more alive than I usually was when I was sick. Ally is a strong character and beli... moreeves that it is her destiny to save the immortals and humans from the vampires. Although she is in denial at first, she quickly sees that she is the only one that can stop them and they would have to let fate play it;s course. James is her amazing soul mate who is dominating but also has a weak spot for Ally. I loved both of them a lot and can't wait to see what becomes of their relationship. Although Logan was not shown much in the story, I felt as though he was still an amazing character that has a lot of dynamic with such little description in the book. It would be good to bring him out a little more, for his appearance was not very constant. I felt that the relationship between Chase, Mackenzie and Kat was a little predictable because of the many book I read, I think. I have read many books that have cliched this ending for the second major couple/characters. Other than that, this book was really good and I am really interested in the second one. I can't wait to get the second one (if I can!). Thank you for giving me a chance to read this book and if you are unsure if you should read this book or not, you should...it is very entrancing. less
