It’s time for another 5RI! This week’s menu includes fantasy, so let’s dive into the wonderful world building of some great books that take us by the hand and pull us into other worlds, some even within our own!

This should come as no surprise and if you haven’t read this series yet, I dunno where you’ve been the past 4 years. This quartet is one of the best urban fantasies on the market, hands down! It follows five friends as they search for the truth behind an ancient legend.

Need I say more, fam? This is one of the most incredible fantasies I’ve ever read, and I cannot wait to read the rest of the series. The multiple worlds theory comes to life in this dimension-traveling adventure, and you will fall in love with this universe, no question!

I couldn’t do this without including my fav of all time, Kelley. This was my first book by her and made me fall in love with her writing. The story follows a squad of teens in a group home that all have certain supernatural abilities and their struggle to survive in a world that doesn’t understand them. The companion series is also amazing!

If you enjoyed Vampire Academy, or even if you’ve never read it, I HIGHLY recommend Bloodlines! I personally loved it so much more than VA, and the magic system of the alchemists is so intricate and fun. Plus, I just love Adrian and Sydney ❤

If you were like me and grew up on Avatar: The Last Airbender, anything elemental instantly piques your interest. This book focuses on the Merricks, four brothers who all can control and are connected with one of the four elements. The first book, as you could probably tell by the title, deals with the Water brother, Chris, and a girl at his school, Becca (Also, can we all just collectively laugh at these supposedly “high school” aged models lolol)
