review 1: Admittedly I read this book for the sex. I was in the mood for something steamy and this more than delivered. I planned to read part of it, get bored by the lack of real plot that usually goes along with short erotica stories and be done. But, the story actually sucked me in (bad punn, sorry). In the first few chapters the main characters had a huge sex scene that I had expected to be the end of the book. Since the book began with that it made me curious about where the story could actually go from there. Turns out I found the characters very likeable and the story (however implausible) fun. And of course the sex scenes didn't disappoint.

Erica is the serious, “good girl,” High School English teacher, who has been burned by love, in the past. The story begins with a steamy car ride home and takes off from there.The sex is incredibly hot, as the three learn what the others like. However, a deep emotional bond develops as part of, and in addition to, the sexual connection among all of them. The experiment at keeping things “casual” fails miserably as their feelings for each over change and grow over the course of the story. They are forced to face these feelings in a real, painful and tangible way, as they realize it could all be taken away, in a gut-wrenching event that will have you reaching for the tissues.Attention to detail is difficult to achieve when there are three partners in a relationship. Ms. Lee develops each, such that the reader feels the growing ambivalence within of each of them, as they figure out where they stand in the triad. Juggling each personality can be hard, but each confronts his/her deepest fears and desires. As they do, they open themselves up to be hurt, but also to the possibility of something greater. The plot is well developed, and the sex scenes build in closeness and intensity as Erica, Corey and Griff become intertwined.Pam, a fellow teacher and Erica’s co-worker is the voice of reason. She is a supportive secondary character, who advises Erica to be honest about herself to Corey and Griff. Pam deserves her own happily ever after, in my opinion.“Erica’s Choice” features f/m/m, m/f/m, m/f and m/m scenes, so be sure you have plenty of batteries or someone to help you take the edge off, people. less
