review 1: I really enjoyed this book. It was funny, and dramatic as she takes a vacation at her friends house in Florida to "get away" for her 50th birthday. Every year there is a disaster that befalls her on her birthday and because this is the "big one", she just knows that something bad is going to happen. But what she finds in a friendly neighbor is just what she has been looking for. A very fun read! :)
review 2: This is definitely one of those "make you think" books. In some places it made me cry, others smile. I really enjoyed the "coming out of her shell" aspect of Olivia, and her relationship with Jared. However, the ending of the book seemed rushed to me, and left me feeling like it was just tacked onto the book. I am left with unanswered questions as to wh
... moreat happened with Olivia's future, things I feel the author could have easily addressed in a sentence or a paragraph. This book had 4 star potential, but these issues prevented me from enjoying it enough for that rating. less
