review 1: I liked this book though it did not have a huge hook in it. It was a book I could easily pick up and put down again. I liked the characters. It's a book about family relationships. I think so anyway. It was a little slow in places. I listened to it on audio & really enjoyed the voice of the lady reading it. If you are looking for something that will keep you up all night reading this might not be the book for you. My opinion though. Also there is little or no profanity in this book. The writer should get five stars for that.
review 2: After devouring LEARNING TO SWIM, I was anxious to read the next book by this author. I found A COLD AND LONELY PLACE in my local library and began to read it. It was the same thing--I could not put the book down. Sara J.... more Henry truly knows how to write a mystery that is fun and holds your interest. It may be awhile before she puts out the next book in this series, but I will anxiously await it!! less
