review 1: TW: Molestation, Rape, Sexual Abuse, Slut Shaming.Abby is entering high school, which is a rough time in anyone's life. But with the problems that she has at home and the problems that she has at school, Abby starts to confide in someone that she probably shouldn't. He says that his name is Luke and he seems to be genuinely interested in her. But Abby is fourteen, and he has told her that he is twenty-seven. As she becomes more secluded, he becomes more forthright with what he really wants from her.Sex. When Abby disappears, everyone is left scrambling with questions of what happened to her.It was a bit chilling to read the parts where Luke's control of the situation became really disturbing. Like when it was pretty obvious that Abby was uncomfortable but still did whateve... morer he wanted her to do at the same time. It was really cringe worthy when you remember that there are so many fourteen year old girls that have laptops with cameras that could easily fall victim to guys like this. You can't help but get a little bit pissed off when you get towards the end and all that Luke did to Abby comes to light. Like posting her on child pornography sites where people could see her being raped and photos that she had sent him. I think that it was pretty disturbing that students at Abby's school got their hands on her photos. I'm pretty sure they should have been arrested for looking at child pornography or something like that.
review 2: I feel this book was good, but too fast paced for me. I feel as though this book was perfect for younger readers to read and learn about the importance of internet safety and why its not okay to give important information such as where she lives. There was clues not only out in the open that he was a predator but hidden ones too that's a sign to even the absent-minded. He stated that he lived far away but some how changed his address a couple of times with in a week? I would recommend this book to beginner mothers and children who refuse to understand the important of staying safe on the internet. 4/5 Stars less
