review 1: If you are more creative than a piece of sheetrock, you will probably be able to muster more creative projects than the tiny number ('way, 'way less than 365) that are in this book. If you are more intelligent than, say, the common earthworm, you will not need "directions" or lists of supplies for anything in this book. Well, the title does say "simple", does it not? Many reviewers here say, when Ms. Goldschadt "says 'simple', she means simple." I beg to differ. These are not "simple handmade projects". They are STUPID handmade projects. Each week gets a theme, complete with a template. There is a fox template (one of the better ones), a bird template, a rainbow template with three stripes, a raindrop template, a circle template, a square template. Yes, just how impair... moreed do you have to be to need a freakin' template for a square, a raindrop or a circle? And the ubiquitous moustache meme also makes an appearance. The whole moustache thing was cute for like, maybe, a week. Can we let it go? Please? On each day of the week, you have the opportunity to make a very limited number of stupidly simple craft items with your handy, dandy template. A moustache on a stick. A raindrop on a stick, bird on a stick, a couple of squares on a stick. You get the idea. Shove the stick into a cupcake and you have a cupcake ornament. If you do every craft in this book, you will eat 'way too many cupcakes. You can make another set of these templates on a stick and stick them in flower pots with your plants. Or, save time and just stick the cupcake ornaments in the flowerpots after you're done with your cupcake. Or you can make cards, stick a moustache on a card, a raindrop on a card, a bird on a card, three squares on a card, or, for variety's sake, SIX squares on a card. Stick any template on a barrette or bobby pin, and you have a hair ornament. Oh my God! Shoot me with a glue gun! Dumbest craft book EVER!!
review 2: Exactly what it says: 365 craft projects organized by 52 weekly themes. Most of the projects are just repeats of each other with different motifs: ornaments, felt plush, cards, garland, cupcake picks, bobby pins, and gift tags predominate. Everything is very simple and despite this book not being targeted to child crafters, most of the projects can be done (some with assistance) by children who are able to cut, trace, glue, sew, and follow simple instructions. less

I was so disappointed with this book. The craft projects seem poorly made to me and it's repetetive.

When the title says "Simple" it REALLY means simple. Very repetitive ideas.
