review 1: Where to begin with this book? It was an okay read. I am stuck somewhere between two and three stars. It was an okay read, and parts of it were very good. I don't think I have ever read about so many uniquely crazy characters between the covers of one book before. Over the top, strange, and completely unbelievable at times – like a daytime drama – such is Annie's life. The author has an exceptionally creative imagination. I was given a copy of this book for free in exchange for an honest review.
review 2: Although I am new to Goodreads, I enjoyed this book so much I felt duty bound to respond to the author's note at the end of the book to review this story so here goes.I came across this book whilst looking for chic-lit that was a little different to my no... morermal read.I became quickly absorbed into the story enjoyed getting to know the characters who are all interesting and well described. I found it was very well written and the plot thought out. I thought Annie was a very modern, scatterbrained individual who hindered by her kind heart became embroiled in some difficult situations. Her support from her best friend Yvonne and their escapades had me in hysterics.I came across a few typos but the book was quite cheap, so I didn't mind that much. There was a bit at the end about the writers other book but it didn't look like my kind of thing so I skipped it. less
