review 1: This is going to sound ridiculous, but here it goes. I've never been one to read poetry or to enjoy poetry. I love both reading and writing, but I never found any joy in poetry. And then I heard Sarah Kay and Phil Kay perform "When Love Arrives" and I watched it, over and over and over again. And I read it, and I loved it. Then, I purchased this book and every poem in this book gives me the same feeling of joy that "When Love Arrives" gave me. I adore this book, I read it frequently throughout the week. If this book can turn someone like me, who doesn't care for poetry, into someone who is constantly reading from it, what can it do for the poetry lover? I highly recommend this collection to EVERYONE I come across.

... morehis summer, I hinted at my mother if I could somehow receive No Matter the Wreckage as a birthday gift. Guess what? It happened! I made sure that I went through these poems like they were parts of me I did not want to lose. Slowly and carefully. Whilst crying. No tear-stained pages, though, I promise! I haven't much time at the moment to write the kind of review that this book of poems deserves, so I'll have to do it another time. In the fewest words possible: Sarah Kay and her poems have the ability to take you to the most magical of places. less
