review 1: As a fellow blue-stocking and an oddity myself, I love how Sarah MacLean did not stereotype the "smart bespectacled girl". Her inquisitive nature and her passion for learning along with her glasses are the qualities that set her apart; the very same qualities that allure the man she loves. There is nothing worse than the girl with glasses being 'seen' only after she takes off those glasses and dramatically removes the pins from her hair. She is loved for the quirky woman she is. I thoroughly enjoyed this read.
review 2: De nuevo Sarah ha conseguido engancharme de principio a fin con un libro, sobre todo con este, porque la relación y la tensión entre ambos protagonistas es de las mejores que he leído, pero no me ha acabado de gustar el final del libro, cómo... more resuelve esa tensión, y la historia de Cross no me ha sorprendido demasiado, aún así todos los libros de la autora tienen "algo" que hacen que me encanten. less
