review 1: A fun, funny and even sometimes touching celebration of romance and those who read it. I wasn't a huge fan of the more self-helpy parts towards the end of the book, but I wouldn't hesitate to foist it on anyone who is curious or disdaining of the genre, so they can see what it's really all about and why it's such a big part of so many people's lives. Also: bonus validation points for those of us who have already been sucked in!
review 2: This book reminded me that it was okay for me to read romance novels. It was okay for me to like romance novels and it was okay for me to talk about reading/liking romance novels. This book is something I would give all romance readers/writers big or small just to show them how romance novels have impacted our lives for the bet
... moreter and how we have learned to have better relationships with people in our lives from reading romance novels. One of my favorite things about this book however, was how it referenced romance novels and gave me a huge list of books I need to read/or re-read. Love it! less
