review 1: Thank you Netgalley and Ellora's Cave for the ARC read for honest review. I only gave the book a 3 star because it was a short read. It's a fast read. A HOT fast read. Nice to have a hero who is shy and honest and not all about himself. Scott was raised on the wrong side of the tracks and joins the military for 8 years. He returns home and opens a service garage. His neighbor, Michaela,who watches him exercise from the shadows, was raised on the right side of the tracks. She finds herself attracted to Scott and quickly covers for Scott and is his alibi when the local sheriff questions and accuses him of a recent break in. Scott is confused by her quick reaction to be his alibi and asks her out - again she is quick and says yes. Again, a hot steamy fast ... moreread.
review 2: I loved Scott, "sounds good...Go on a date with my tonight, Michaela," he spoke against her hair and that voice sent another zing zipping through her." Michaela I loved that girl she's so honest and intriguing, "I've seen you working out on occasion." When he grinned, she continued defensively. "It's not my fault you practically strip naked while doing it." Scott knows how to make his demands sound so damn sexy, "will you go on the pill? I want to eff you without any barriers," he whispered against her neck. His words came out almost as a growl." I was a little upset that the book was just too damn short I wish there had been more story. less
