review 1: Am I really supposed to think while reading shifter? I don't think so. This was political and so much drama within families. There are kids being used as tools. Wars being planned. There were amazing humans in a small town. There was a lot of hate for wolves and vamps. My only question is how can one go against true mates? Even if the castes are there won't being a true mate trump anything else? What happens if you meet your true mate, but are forced to mate someone else? I like Caelan and Graham. The ending! HOLY SHEEP!!!!
review 2: DNF at 30%.Werewolf's Way is a modern day fantasy involving supernatural species (shifters and magical beings) living in human secrecy. There is a caste system involving the shifters, with the dragon shifters holding au... morethority as the most powerful.The reason why I quit so early was because I couldn't really get into the author's writing style. It was reminiscent of Amber Kell, which didn't work for me. There was a lot of things "suddenly" happening, and I couldn't feel drawn into this modern day fantasy. I think this is a "me" problem as opposed to the author, so I wouldn't discourage anyone from giving this a try. Perhaps be cautious and read a sample before going ahead with the purchase. less
