review 1: I can honestly say that I have never read a book quite like this. And by that I mean a story about a plus sized, stripper who makes no apologies for who she is. Cherry Tart is a flame haired amazon warrior. She’s large and in charge, makes no apologies and takes no prisoners. I loved how she knew exactly who she was. She didn’t doubt herself and she accepted herself in all of her voluptuousness. When she takes the job as a secretary she meets Kellan. He’s sexy, dominant, charismatic and—-her boss! But there is no way to stop the sexual chemistry that flows between this pair. But at the same time, Kellan is haunted by a sexy dancer. She never leaves his thoughts. Little does Kellan know that she already works for him. Kellan being Kellan knows what he wa... morents and he wants the goddess that fills his every waking thoughts.I loved this book so much. The characters are not only sexy but smart and fun. They play off each other well and are never boring. This book is unexpectedly funny. There is one part involving a digestive disorder as an excuse that had me rolling on the floor. This is no doubt a steamy read, and there is plenty of sex, but there is also a sweetness to the characters. They are romantic and destined for each other. The plot is superbly written. It is intelligent and witty.And then there is Jasper who is part owner of the club where Cherry dances and he is also one of Cherry’s closest friends. There is a mystery to Jasper and I am desperate to find out more about his character. Jasper definitely needs his own book.This book was so good that I sped read through it. Cherry and Kellan captured my heart. The story had its own unique vision and never wavered from that. Awesome job to the author for crafting such deliciousness.5 out of 5 stars.
review 2: OMG this book is Hot!!!! I mean hot!!!!! I so completely love Cherry. She is a plus size woman who is living her life on her terms. You meet her first as stripper Cherry Tart, then you get to know her other half, secretarial temp Cherry Kilgore. Being a plus size woman myself, I realized early on that Cherry is the type of woman I want to be. She owns her body and loves it. Yes, she had something bad happen to her in her past, but nowadays who hasn't. She did let it rule her life for awhile, but now she has been forced to take control of her life and make some major decisions. Not only is this a story about falling in love, its also a story about self love. Oh and the sex scenes, dam!!!!! I need someone like Kellan in my life. Scarlett, this book is amazing and I now have to get your other books. I can't wait to read more from you!!!! less
