review 1: To be fair, I listened to the unabridged on CD version while on a long car ride. It was excellent. I was in tears half the trip. This book will make you think about all the people who's families had to try to move forward after 9/11. It will make you think about the souls who were "in the wrong place at the wrong time" that day. It will make you think about life, and how we never know how or where it will end and to make the most of what you have. It will make you think about what you truly feel is important. It will make you realize that sometimes life doesn't work out the way we want and really, that's ok. In fact, sometimes that lets us find something we didn't know we wanted. It will get into your heart and it will change your life a little.
review 2: Oh th
... moreis book was difficult. It opens with a man running to an early morning meeting in New York...in the World Trade Center...on September 11, 2001. Flash forward a year and we read how his sister is handling his death. She is also looking for a little boy that could be her brother's son that he never knew. So well written but so heartbreaking because this probably did happen. Tragic but a book I would recommend and will never forget. less

Just an ok read, although a quick one. It started really well, but got jumpy and predictable.
