review 1: This book was terrible. The only reason I finished it was because I was out in the woods with no connectivity on my Kindle, and it was all I had. This was the most pointless, meandering, uninteresting story. The characters made no sense/were unlikely, and there were far too many of them. The author kept introducing them as if they mattered, when in fact many were completely superfluous. I really hated this book and wish I hadn't wasted my time on it.

Ordinary people can do very bad things. Evil isn't pure and obvious. Creepy.
