review 1: Scott young a smart young writter. The book is almost his own experience in learning it explains the holistic learning approach theoretically at first, which is great because by knowing the basis you can adjust the techniques the way that suits you the best. Then he explains the practical techniques followed by a practical challenges to help you transform the techniques into habits. The second part of the book tallks about productivity and self learning. It was a good, helpfull and motivating book.
review 2: This book is a very interesting read, it can help you understand how your mind perceive information, including your senses and emotions with the aid of humor and creativity. It talks about how information varies and what kind of different approaches (underst
... moreanding & exploration) one must carry out to better understand the idea.Different ways on how to acquire information, how you process them inside your head, ways to explore and debug, and finally how to apply it to your daily life are being taught in this book. It teaches you how to study smarter, and not to become an all-nighter.Also, there are tips available to properly manage your energy and time so you don't just get to study, but do other things that you love besides studying or learning.More importantly, it offers different kind of mind tools and challenges/exercises that you could use when studying or just engaging in a project-based learning for one's self-improvement. less
