review 1: I picked up this book shortly after it was released on the recommendation of a friend, who knows the author. I downloaded it while on special for free and hadn't gotten around to reading it until recently and to be honest, downloaded it without even reading a description. It took me a little while to get into the book and I wasn't really sure how I felt about it. But as it got more into the meat of the story, I was hooked. It is not a "typical" story in that it is very unique compared to the other books I've read as to the characters and story line. I was so disappointed when I got to the end and realized it was part of a series. I immediately wanted to pick up the next book to continue reading.
review 2: What a fantastic first novel by S. E. Duncan.What a grea... moret story which flows so easily. What a cliffhanger and I can't believe I have to wait for the next book. Ella is a strong and independent college student but her body is changing, evolving, Awakening. Burke appears out of nowhere, he can help Ella but will Ella let him?? I loved this book and would recommend it. less
