review 1: When I reviewed Tigers and Devils I said that I would be happy to read about the next fifty years of Simon and Declan's life in excruciating detail and nothing about this book changed my mind. I LOVED getting another look at their relationship as they weathered new storms. I loved that they have matured and grown into a couple who communicate better, although not perfectly, and never doubt their relationship even when things get hard. This book shows a relationship that isn't perfect but that is strong and real. Too few romances show the love that's still felt after five years together and it was a true joy to read Tigerland.
review 2: I think I highlighted all of Overtime! I love Simon! I love Declan! :) It was so nice to revisit their world. I adore Fran and ... moreRoger as well as Abe and Lisa! I super hated Greg and Jasper, lol lol. I think what I enjoyed and loved about this is that you can tell Simon and Declan love each other and have indeed grown with each other. There was no rehashing of old traits. It was again them against the world but even better. It was an awesome sequel! Great job! :) less
