review 1: This can be read as a standalone but would be better enjoyed if Forged was read first.I've loved these two guys since their introduction in Forged and was thrilled to find them featured in this fun and entertaining holiday short. It's a well written release filled with the serious medical issue of Jeremy dealing with a pair of new, lighter weight prosthetic legs and he doesn't like it. It also makes him think of all the problems possibly on the horizon for him, making him upset, angry and scared. The author deals with this nicely, using his lover Simone to give him the lover and understanding he needs. And lets not forget about the sizzling hot sex between two committed partners...partners ready to face the challenges of life together.
review 2: Loved this foll... moreow up to Forged! Simon and Jeremy are probably my favorite couple in the Hammer series. Once again, I found myself slightly emotional reading about these guys. They are truly perfect for one another and I appreciate books that can show the beauty in romances dealing with disabilities or life challenges. There’s only one extended scene in this book, but it’s a really, really good one!!! less
