review 1: This was a really cute story. I loved Jasen. He was funny and real. Rilvor could have been filled out a little more. I had a hard time feeling much for Rilvor because I knew so little of him. The setting worked well with me. Though the world building is a bit thin I still thought it was easy to see because of the resemblance to medieval times. It fit well with the lore of dragons. The characters were well filled out. The writing was very good. Though this was a short the author made me like the story and most of the characters. Would have been a five star except for Rilvor's character being so thin.Would so read more like this.
review 2: 3,5*I admit the story sucked me in in the beginning with good writing, an interesting setting/world! And great sec
... moreondary characters. There where some parts which very very long winded, especially Jasen's struggle deciding about an answer to the king's question. The romance was very sweet, unfortunately I didn't feel the spark between the two MC's, it read more like really good friends. Which is, I think, for obe due to the king Rilvor, which stayed kind of bland, and second, many meetings between Jasen and Rilvor are just skipped. One more thing bothered me, that was that Jasen could have been Jane without much altering of the story. Only a handful of secondary things like once the mention of shaving and maybe twice the mention of a dick on Jason defined him as masculine. But obviously that's just me :-) less

Dragons and rule breaking and mud ball, sigh. If only Polina had fallen in some

Five Stars, especially for a free read. Cute and light-hearted.

Freebie. Three is a great score from me for a free novella.
