review 1: 4 out of 5 stars. This book had a lot more action than the first one, it seemed, and was really enjoyable and entertaining. Though I liked the first half of the book better than the second. I still love Armand, he's a far more interesting character than most of the others. Lora is funny and I love all her scenes with Armand, of which there are plenty. I felt sorry for Lady Chloe, actually, in this book, but only a little. NOt sure of what to make of Aubrey but looking forward to the third book.

I crave that feeling like the Drakon crave the skies.I enjoyed the first in this series but I feel that the second surpassed it. I could not figure out at the end of the first book how t... morehe author was going to work out the love triangle but I believe that she handled it beautifully. I look forward to the next in the series and my continued love affair with the Drakon. I have never been disappointed by Shana Abe's writing and recommend all of her novels. less
