review 1: I'm a sucker for action-packed thriller movies, and this book exceeded my expectations. I thought it would be silly and juvenile, based on the premise if interns being assassins..but no. It's witty like Palahniuk, and I found myself really entertained by the characters' raw descriptions and analogies. I gave it 4 stars because the last 2 pages disappointed me, but overall really enjoyed it. Fast paced, unique and original, and really entertaining. It's violent and clever and like I said.. Action packed. It's also pretty disturbing and shows human betrayal, abuse, and other ugliness at its best.. For this reason I told my mom it wasn't for her. I think I'll read another by this author!
review 2: Total guy thriller fantasy: a lowly desk jockey is really a hired a
... moressassin/kick-ass tough guy. His greatest skill in getting close to his targets? He makes a great cup of coffee. Even though this is narrated by "the bad guy", the author is very careful to make his victims the real bad guys (eg, child pornographers) that we all wish would go away without all that pesky legal rigamarole. Don't read this for realism (eg, he gets a concussion, and just a few hours later is in yet another desperate fight taking down multiple military targets), but because this is what guys would want themselves to be. less

This book was just fun. In a sort of twisted way. But very fun to read.
