review 1: Like this series. So far this 3rd book has been my favorite. Again I only wish this book were a bit longer and the romance between Gallagher and Carmen was a bit longer and more drawn out. The action and the plot are good just want a bit more depth between the 2 lovers in this series. Am assuming since we got a hint of a romance between Donovan and his rescue that this story may play out more in another book. If not, we were certainly left hanging.
review 2: 3.8 stars.The author takes a few extreme liberties with reality but for the most part this mercenary book was done very well. I’m glad she remembered to add in the emotion through actions near the end. I was disappointed that the secondary romance was reduced to sequel bait but I understand it wouldn�... more�t have worked in a short amount of time. I also liked the humor throughout. This was a satisfying read all around. less
