review 1: The title alone is good enough reason to own this book, but I bought it based on the hilarity of the review at Smart Bitches, Trashy Books. I also need some books that I can read in less than a day to catch up with my reading challenge quota. The asshat hero's ebony eyes sparkle like . . . ebony, and just about everything he says is said "silkily." A ridiculous, silly, and quick read - I chuckled aloud several times while reading this, and was tempted to read aloud to people who did not care.
review 2: This was my first ever skinny Harlequin. I read this book for two reasons: 1) Because of the outrageously-awesome-ridiculous title, and 2) To help reach my quota of books read in 2010.The first half of the book is entertaining in a “so-bad-it’s-good” kind
... more of way. My favorite line was “Kaliq dismounted with the same speed and grace as he would remove himself from the body of a woman he had just made love to.” And what girl would not want to be called “little lizard”? The second half of the book was predictable: boy seduces girl, girl loves boy, boy hurts girl, girl tries to run away, attacking guard dogs corner girl in front lawn, boy loves girl. When Eleni ran away in the last chapter, I was really hoping the barking dogs would eat her. That would have been a much better ending. less

This was really shitty. Unintentionally hilarious as well but mostly shitty.

If you don't take this book seriously it is just deliciously crazy!
