review 1: Ow, Ow Matey, this is one hell of a book. When I started I never intended to read every single page I was planning on reading some and skimming some. That little plan of mine went right out the window after I read the first chapter. I was entranced and intrigued as the first half of story hit very close to home. Mackenzie Deeks is suffering with eating disorders, triggered by stress and lack of control over situations in her life. At school she is a loner who stays out of the way vying to be invisible. However Tyler Redding notices her from the moment he laid eyes on her, he wants her he also sees the struggle and all she is drowning in. He recognize from personal experience and knows she needs help."I want her to get better, I really do. But mess or not- I just want her... more"~Tyler Tyler,Tyler ohh boy I don't think Amazing comes close to describing him, he was perfect, kind, sweet and loving in every way."I will always be a son she can be proud of. I will always give her those little milestones moments."~TylerShe is also very drawn to Tyler in ways she is yet to understand"For some inexplicable reason, Tyler is the only one I see"~MackThey develop a budding relationship, that makes her forget her troubles and want to do better. Then comes the dramatic moment where they are ripped apart. That was one of the best parts of the book because after that, I read like a bat out of hell on speed, I was no longer bale to take notes or copy quotes. No I was too engulfed in the story.During their period of physical separation they both went through major growth and development. Tyler grew into a beast of a man and Mack worked on herself, over coming her eating disorder and focusing on the positives in her life.A segment of this book is in the form of letters between the two. (very sweet might I add)What had me so excited was that all this takes up only 50% of this book so I was on the edge wondering how on Gods earth can S.Prat continue this leave amazement and where can she possibly take the book now. There was really only one way and S.Prat when there and did so brilliantly, complete knocked it out of the park. The second half of the book was just as good as the first. I loved and enjoyed every second of it.The writing was just flawless, I loved the authenticity to Australia all the little quarks were written in.I appreciate, that Prat wrote about eating disorder because its a deadly disease that affects millions of people myself included. It was handled well and stayed true to the condition. This is one of those books that hits hard and true.Amazing book love it.
review 2: FFs I think I'll read a few chapters as I can't sleep this was 3 am it's now half five in the morning and once again I was hooked to a book by Mz Pratt, why do I do this to my self, I knew after a few chapters I HAD to finish it, as always beautifully written, a story which to me was very close to home, I just love the way a serious issue was written about, dealt with and shown in a good light, all with a underlying HEA . less
