review 1: This book is completely engaging - I couldn't put it down. However, I did find the main character a bit problematic. Namely, the dialog and thought processes at the beginning of the book made me think the character had a lower I.q than normal, but as the book progresses, I found that wasn't the case at all. Still, Kenny is an original character and I love her (him?). There were also some parts (early relationship with Daphne) that I found unnecessarily squeamish, but overall the book was so engaging I have to rate it 4 stars. I couldn't put it down, and can't wait to read more of the author's work.
