review 1: Oy! The constant mention of Jess' ADD is driving me nuts!! I know several people that manage with moderate to severe ADD. This just seems like overkill and very disingenuous. I've been reading Robyn Carr's Virgin River series and there are very well-adjusted characters that are missing limbs & suffering from PTSD. I want to just tell Jess to get the eff over it. When her ADD is addressed, the dialogue appears stilted and awkward because the scenes don't feel real...
review 2: This was not my favorite of this series. Jess does a LOT of whining in this one. I would have much rather seen the author focus more on the relationship between Thomas and Connie. It was a sweet story and I would recommend it only as a stepping stone to the next book in the series. ... more It was a pretty quick read though and I am looking forward to the next book.
