review 1: Relief from pain, physical and emotional. Relief from loneliness, the real kind, caused by the loss of hope. Relief from addiction, motivation to live life sober, to enjoy the good, the sad, and the sublime all the better. All of this brought Gus into Enzo's life. Enzo, in turn, woke Gus back to a vibrant life, full of everything he'd never knew he'd wanted. A marvelous love story, with a fine happy ending. Recommended, just like everything else I've read by this author.

Make me care about these two guys.Make it cool, make it different.Make it hot and sweet and funny.Make the writing clever and easy and smooth.Make it so that I don't care about the hiccups, because I didn't.Make it so I can picture where they are, he... morear their little noises, feel his gentle frustration.Make it so I too don't realize until the same time that he does just what the one has been going through, and the light bulb goes on.Make it so these few pages feel like a complete journey, while knowing it's just one of many of theirs to come.Make it so in a few sentences, their connection is real and has possibilities. Quite a feat. Really, there's nothing like a good short story. Totally a thing and all on it's own, and I thoroughly enjoy. less
