review 1: When I think of a word to describe this book and this authors writing style, it is fresh, this is a fresh concept with many surprises within! Just when you think you have it all figured out, nope back to square one with the guessing game!I love that a book can do that to you and keep you on your toes, it is hard to do that and keep the story from getting away from you, but Sid Love does it somehow. Don't miss this exciting one of a kind love story that will keep you on edge until the end! Thanks Sid, for your fresh take on everlasting love!
review 2: I very much enjoyed this short story from Sid Love. It's the tale of Bradley Joseph Parker, a man with the 'arrogance of a drag queen, too picky when it comes to dating' and in love with the dream of being madly i... moren love with Mr Right who rides in on his white stallion and sweeps him off his feet. Brad is a romantic through and through. So when he finally loses his virgin status on Valentine's Day to the perfect man, he rushes over to his best friend Leslie to tell her about it. There's just one problem. Brad can't remember anything about the man other than the medallion he wore around his neck. He knows he had a damn good time but everything else is a blur.Leslie and Brad are determined to track down the mysterious man who Bradley is convinced he is now madly in love with and their journey takes them on a path of danger and discovery that neither of them would ever have envisioned.It's a tender, sweet, sometimes funny and always entertaining tale of two people bumbling along to make Brad's dream come true and getting into trouble in the process. And when they do find Brad's true love, Ronan, nothing could have prepared them for the dark secret. I won't tell you much about that as you need to find out for yourself.The story is told from Leslie's point of view which is a little frustrating as I wanted to really get to know Brad and Ronan, delve into their perspectives, find out what made them tick and learn more about their feelings. While Leslie is a beautifully drawn character, full of verve and vigour, we never quite understand exactly how Brad is feeling about his man, or just how much love Ronan has for him to do what he does to keep Brad safe from harm.I loved the world building, and the people who turn out to be the bad guys are refreshingly evil and dark, the myths behind such beings staying true to the image they have had as perhaps not being the nicest people on the planet :)All in all this is a lovely read, taking you on a vision of a man's quest to love through to his eventual happiness but possibly not in the way you'd expect.Well done Sid for a great read. less
