review 1: I am usually not big on short reads and most of the time don't really read them anymore. When I came across this book I think what caught me first was the theme. I am a die hard NASCAR fan and usually read anything that I can get my hands on with a race car driver. Well I didn't get my driver but the owner this time.It seems now days every magazine you pick up or tv show that is on every girl is stick thin. Well with this book it shows us that even curves can be sexy. In this book we get to see Shannon over coming her fear of opening up to a new relationship due to an ex that uses her. Her self-esteem is at an all time low due to big bigger and being cheated on which leads her to having no hope of finding her HEA. Then in steps Brent rich, sexy, dominant race car owner. F... morerom the minute he sets his eyes on Shannon he makes it known he wants her and he always get what he wants ;).I am really looking forward to the next book in the series to find out where this relationship goes. This is definitely a book I would recommend.
review 2: I received an advance copy from the author. It was a fun read and very sweet story. It tells the story of Shannon Meyers who's a big girl and who's marriage fell apart because of cheating ex and derogative comments about her weight. What I love about this book is that Brent Hague loved Shannon's curves and accepts her and her flaws. It makes us believe and hope there are happy endings in all sizes. I felt slightly discontented with the ending because I expected more. Luckily, it was included that there would be Reckless Curves 2. I'm looking forward to reading the next book! less
