review 1: This is a spoof on a classic mystery where the amateur detectives are of the English aristocracy, every country house party will inevitably end in a murder, and is liberally sprinkled (nay sprayed) with phrases like "broken biscuits","me old ice bun" and where chaps would "lay down their lives" for a beauty, and would cut a swathe through the enemy with their trusty cricket bat.All in all an entertaining listen but some of the phrases got a bit old.
review 2: Pretty awful conservative rip-off of P. G. ... morerganisation in Spain. Not only is that a rip off of the “Red Hand” confederate in Sherlock Holmes, it also ignores the then current Spanish civil war.(Look up "Spanish Civil War", Simon. You'll find the Marxists were _in power_ at this time in Spain). less

Very silly, but lots of fun. If you want a light hearted read, this is a good choice.
