review 1: Simon's Cat and the Kitten do not disappoint with hilarious cat antics that can only come from the mind of a man who has obviously had much firsthand cat owner experience. A great comic for people of any age since the comics are wordless, but cat lovers especially should enjoy this.I liked this one better than the first, probably because I'd seen so many of the comics in the first book as Simon's Cat short videos and therefore knew the "punchlines" already.
review 2: Simon Tofield brings to the page all the fun from his online videos. He manages to capture "cat thinking" and idiosyncracies, and render them in a heartfelt way so that even those that are 'meh' about cats can appreciate their antics.What I particularly love about his work is that I can find it hum... moreorous and occasionally thought provoking, and my kids --tween and newly minted teen-- can laugh at them too.Definitely recommend to cat aficionados. less
