review 1: I was in a bit of a book slump and wanted to read a love story. So I went in search of a S.J. Frost book knowing it wouldn't let me down... And it didn't. I knew I was going to get sappy love story and I loved every bit of it. Just hit the spot.WTF Moment:“It’s all right. I was hurt that you didn’t want to be seen with me in public, but I also came to realize if the only time I can be with you is in private, that’s better than nothing.”I'm sorry... WHAT? This said after what might be 5 mins after he was stopped from leaving a bar to with another guy he told that he'd fuck until he screaming his name? When did he come to this realization? The past 30 seconds?
review 2: A sweet tale of enemies-to-lovers. The enemies part doesn't last very long,... more to be honest, but the story is nonetheless fun and cute. Ash is sassy, and Jackson is sweet -- together, they're a sweet and sassy combo. The story features shifting POVs (within the same SCENE, even), and that bothered me a little. Also, some typos, etc., that distracted. Otherwise, decent...fun...fluffy enough for me to say maybe 3.5, rounded to 4 for GR. less
