review 1: I thought this might be a fun read from the tittle (and the better cover picture that is on the free kindle download--yet another dumb cover on goodreads). It was kind of fun, but the main girl isn't endearing and there was a ton of swearing.I thought maybe I'd read the next on and began the first couple of chapters, but they were filled with cussing that wasn't in the first and it felt like it was going to get much steamier than I care to read. Too bad, it could have been a fun series.
review 2: i downloaded this for free, i actually enjoyed it.Sarah is trying to move on she just buried her father, only to find out that her mother who left them 14 years ago lives after she was told otherwise. A stranger shows up at the bed and breakfast, with strange messages ... moreabout being there to "help" her, plus he knows her mysterious mother who she's not sure she wants to talk to or about,to make it worse she finds out she is the new vampire warden, who knew her family farm was a vampire prison and now she is left with keeping the bad ones in and the worse ones out..... she hopes.She meets her charge Michael who just happens to be one of the oldest living undead. Upon meeting him she's drawn to him though she knows he's dangerous she can't help but want to understand his role despite being warned against being near him.with in a short time she has her world blown apart and before she has time to make sense of any of the new rules the opposing team is closing in there's hard decisions to be made, choices that could leave everyone she cares about dead and forgotten. less
