I found the book genuinely challenging--on multiple occasions he called me stupid, then backed up his argument so well I was forced to agree--and found it consistently insightful.If you aren't familiar with Marxist critical theory or psychoanalysis, you could easily get lost or misread this book. That said, it is the only book on the topic I've been able to find that is worth diving into. less
