review 1: My Thoughts: Spoiler Alert!If you have the craving for a small town shifter story, then Arctic Winds is perfect. Samantha is such sweet little arctic fox. Her shy nature is so appealing.Jason shows Samantha she has a place in his heart and town.This couple overcomes Samantha’s fear of never finding a mate. Why couldn't she find a mate? She just couldn't see anyone loving her.The feeling of small town sweetness in this book is very strong. I loved it! I recommend this book.
review 2: While searching for a new shifter series that I might enjoy, I stumbled upon this book and thought I give it a try. It was a nice enough read with a romance heart in the middle. It didn't quite capture me as some other books did, but the story was good and felt rounded enough to f... moreinish reading. The idea of an arctic fox shifter stumbling into a wolf town was quite interesting and I enjoyed the characters, even though some of them could have had more depth. Unfortunately I found the story slightly forced and the character development a little lacking. I envisioned some kind of action or happening to take place, but except for a little run-in with a red fox, who turned out to be quite nice, this book was focused more on the romance/sex part than on anything else story-wise, which was disappointing. It would have been nice to have more back-story, as well as a better/deeper introduction to all the siblings. All in all a nice read for in-between if you like your romance very straight and taking up the whole story. I for myself enjoy a little more story around the romance, normally. less
