3 LEEDS LUNCH SPOTS YOU NEED TO TRY

One of the things I love to do on a weekend is go out for lunch.

1) THE ALCHEMIST, TRINITY

If you are local to Leeds or visit regularly, I recommend you visit the Alchemist. The Alchemist is known for its unique cocktails and the varied menu. I’m happy to say the food is delicious too and I love the booths and deco, it is beautiful.

Whilst I was there I had my two fave cocktails ‘Tickle Me Pink’ and a Pornstar Martini. The cocktail comes with a syringe and the liquid inside makes your tongue tingle. It does prepare you for the refreshing lemony gin!

Having lunch at The Alchemist is a real treat. Me and Patrick both loved our food and drinks.

Have you eaten at The Alchemist before? What is your favourite dish?

2) THE SLUG AND LETTUCE, PARK ROW

Slug and Lettuce has always been a favourite spot of mine for food and cocktails! It was my first time visiting in Leeds and it did not disappoint. Me and Patrick went for the small plates – 3 for £11.

We ordered the pulled pork steamed buns, southern-fried chicken goujons and the cured meat antipasti to share.

To take advantage of the 2-4-1 cocktails we ordered 2 Berry Brambles and 2 Strawberry Mojitos. Very delicious!

I love how varied the food and drinks menu is, with options for everyone from healthy, veggie dishes, pub classics and of course burgers and steaks. Along with the 2-4-1 cocktails ranging from fruity cocktails, cocktails for the gin lovers and then a classic pina colada.

We eagerly tucked into the cured meats, this was very tasty and I loved the sun-dried tomatoes!

Next we tucked into the pulled pork steamed buns, they was so tasty and my favourite plate but I may be biased as pulled pork lover!

We both loved the southern-fried chicken goujons, I forget how tasty this plate can be!

It was a tasty meal and 2-4-1 cocktails.

Need I say anymore?

3) WASABI, TRINITY

Last but certainly not least. Me and Patrick always enjoy a Katsu chicken when on the go, doing a spot of shopping. By chance we found Wasabi, we could smell it before we saw it. It smelt delicious and we just had to try it.

From all the Japanese Restaurants we have tried, this is defiantly the most value for money. The sizes are very generous, it had lots of rice, curry sauce and chicken. It totalled to £15 for 2 Katsu chicken curry and 2 soft drinks.

What is your favourite lunch spot? Comment below if you know somewhere I need to try!
