review 1: **ARC**Recieved for a honest review..... Let me start out by saying that SR Grey is one of my favorite authors and I always look forward to reading one of her books. Now, I really wanted to like this book but I just couldn't get into this one. The characters fell a little flat. I felt like I was reading Maddie's dairy. I think that the chemistry between Adam and Maddie was good, just not enough.
review 2: I am so glad this book could be read as a stand alone since I'm late coming to the party here. And OMG I have no idea what I missed in previous books (but I will be remedying that very shortly) but Adam and Maddy really managed to heat up the pages despite the hit ordered on Adam, shots fired, hit and runs, and so much more. I think my favorite part o... moref the book was the cabin scenes yet no matter where those two were, and the more danger present the hotter the scenes became. I was happy with the ending of the book. My only complaint was the sudden and anticlimactic conclusion of the mob boss. I expected a bit more. Over all I can't wait to see what I missed. less
