review 1: Rosie put this murder mystery on our nook. Rosie has about 70 books on our Nook which I haven't read yet and will try to go through. It was a standard murder mystery with an ending no-one would see coming. I enjoyed the 25 year title and at the beginning of each chapter a small fact from 25 years ago was written about the town. A very nice touch in the book. It was more than just murder and killing, this book had a lot of emotion in it's characters making you feel for them.
review 2: I downloaded this as a freebie from Barnes & Noble so wasn't sure if I would enjoy it. But it had a surprise ending, which I love. Kris Langley is an editorial assistant at a newspaper, where she is given the task of putting together a news column about things that happened in ... moreher town 25 years ago. She finds an unsolved murder-a young woman-and becomes intrigued. She decides to investigate it on her own, becoming friends with the woman's mother and sister, and becomes romantically involved with the woman's nephew. Overall it was an enjoyable read. less
