It was going to make their breakup talk even harder.- MaggieI really wish I were the woman you want me to be.- MaggieWhen you find the right woman, you stick with her. Forever.- Cal
review 2: I didn't enjoy it as much as the other books by this author, mainly because I found the hero's sixteen year old sister and nosy reporter TSTL(too stupid to live) and their childish antics spoiled the book for me.The heroine has had a wild past, growing up in a commune, wild teenage years but she has worked hard to overcome them when she punches a lecherous wealthy celebrity it all comes clashing down because money speaks and the guy she punched is dangerous and possibly a killer, as her rescuer the hero Cal informs her.Cal is a cop, who comes from a dysfunctional family and then the half-sister he barely knows is murdered and he goes on the trail. He finds Maggie reckless the way she baits the press and soon these two are front page news because of the lies wealth can cook up.Honestly, I didn't see the love between the Larkin sisters and found the town judgmental too. less

Loved the impulsive Maggie and how she kept Cal on his toes and in a dither.
