review 1: The core plot of this book is extremely good and I enjoyed the unusual and at times exciting story, but the writing lacks style and closer editing. It jumps around a little too much, breaking the flow of the reader and I felt some dialogues were a little too long. It's a shame because this could have been a cracking book. The author has a sequel out which I hope flows a little better, I will look forward to reading and comparing.
